Patient Safety Camp

I attended my second Telluride East Patient Safety Student Summer Camp this past week, which was held at the scenic Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD. In addition to learning from the accomplished speakers’ presentations, I was asked to serve as faculty this year and to facilitate one of the student activities myself. Another valuable part of the week were the evening social events which gave me the opportunity to discuss patient safety issues with the students and to inform them about how I provide physicians and nurses with the best information to support patient safety. As was the case last year, the Camp was fun and a wonderful educational experience.
