Text Mining Summit Update

My presentation “Using I2E on Clinical Rounds to Improve Patient Care” was very well received at the Linguamatics Text Mining Summit on October 8th.  I answered many questions afterward, which showed that the attendees were very interested in what I have been doing and in mobile uses of I2E. My presentation was also highlighted on the Linguamatics Blog.

I will continue to use I2E on rounds and to explore its mining capabilities using other information resources in addition to MEDLINE to broaden the contributions I2E makes on rounds.

Here’s a group photo of the Summit attendees – see if you can find me (Hint: I’m wearing red!). Click on the photo to enlarge it.
